While shoveling I noticed my oil pan pushes nearly as much snow as my tires... Also this morning at 9:45 it got up to a toasty 2°F (it was -6°F when I woke up at 7). When does summer start?

Ugh, as a former upstate new yorker you have my sympathies. Sure don't miss shoveling the car and driveway out 3 times a day.
I do miss the fun that can be had in a snowy parking lot or back road. Snowed here the other day but was all gone before I could get out of work and enjoy it.

as a former Michigander and present tennessean, I can feel your pain sir. formerly an avid parking lot drifter during snow (abandoned ones only), to a pedestrian college student in Tennessee where it's just kind of miserable in the winter without any snow at all, just rain.

Which part of Tennessee? Because if you happen to live around Sevier County (East of Knoxville), you'll get snow due in part of the Smoky Mountains.
